People who know nothing about the oil industry and make comments like this are amusing. If the government didn't stick it to them with taxes and regulate the crap out of them, gas prices would be much lower. But it's all about the evil corporations isn't it? Has nothing to do with our intrusive, gigantic government, right?

They think they should not pay taxes on their billions profits but you should pay on your wages.They are greed driven just as the insurance industry.Watch the question and answer when they asked Palin where the Alaskan oil goes.It is all a big rip off and people are too stupid to connect the dots.The Chinese are ahead of the game on us they are developing electromagnetic vehicles.Free energy and clean.

you can thank liberals for high oil prices,their regulations have kept more oil exploration from happening,they also prevent more refineries to by regulations,obama himself has said he likes high oil prices,you forget gas was almost a dollar a gallon less a year ago. high oil prices are one of the biggest factors in this economy

I do not think the Oil Co's are vultures; we need them and they do One Hellla of a Job keeping this nation running on time. We don't have shortages, we don't have tainted gas, the price is pretty stable all over this land, within a dollar of one another from the station at the beginning of Death Valley to Miami Fl. They have a tremendous investment in the land and equipment and people; it has many dangerous jobs. Go look at their investment ratio to profit; I can tell you here but you won't believe it so go look it up. They make no more profit margin than many other companies in this country.
Here's a comparison: I just paid $4.29 for a box of cereal, how many boxes of cereal do you think General Mills gets out of a $7 bushel of oats? Got Milk?

is necessary, he raises an eyelid, And when he thinks he can, He reaches down
and raises the cost of moving by a few cents here few cents there, Untill you know
it you up a lot. Drive only as much as you have to, If you keep your usage down
prices will stay down. I have my division of 26 detectives and 30 Plain clothes officers
down to just mandatory movement, No joy riding, And I have saved my budget for
fuel allocation a bunch. It can be done.
